Referrals can only be made through a social worker at the hospital where the patient is being treated. Once a referral has been processed and approved, one of our staff members will contact the family with instructions on how to complete the online background check.

Families are generally eligible when the child is 21 or younger and the family lives more than 15 miles from the treating facility. Exceptions may be considered based on medical circumstances, transportation barriers and room availability.
