Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley is committed to making our website accessible and usable for all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we’re doing

• Building pages with clear headings, labels, and structure so they work with assistive technology.
• Providing text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Designing for readable text and sufficient color contrast.
• Making menus, links, buttons, and forms usable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Labeling form fields and showing clear error messages.
• Designing pages to work on phones, tablets, and computers, and when text is enlarged.
• Reviewing our website regularly and fixing issues as we find them.

Known limitations

We are continually improving our website, and some content may not yet be fully accessible. Some features are provided by other organizations, including our online giving and volunteer platforms, wish lists, maps, social media, and embedded videos. We choose partners with accessibility in mind, but we cannot fully control the accessibility of their services. If you have trouble with any part of our website or these services, please contact us and we will help you another way.
