EVANSVILLE, Ind. (October 15, 2026) – Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley is unveiling a refreshed identity as part of a coordinated global brand transformation designed to strengthen awareness of the organization and its support for families when children need healthcare. The new tagline, Family Stays, reflects the importance of keeping families close during a child’s medical journey.
Locally, the transformation includes a redesigned website, now live at ronaldmcdonaldhouseov.org, along with a refreshed newsletter, merchandise, and marketing materials. In the coming weeks, the community will also see updated signage at both House locations and a fully rewrapped Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our organization,” said Skylar Hagerman, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley, who was named CEO of Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley earlier this year after previously serving as Chief Marketing and Advancement Officer. “While our look is changing, our commitment to families remains the same. Every day, we see what it means for parents, siblings, and caregivers to stay close when a child needs medical care. We’re looking forward to building on that mission and reaching even more families throughout our region.”
For the organization’s marketing team, the transformation also creates new opportunities to communicate its mission across digital platforms and within the communities it serves.
“Our previous brand served us well for many years, but the way people connect with organizations has changed,” said Sara Jackson, Brand Manager at Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley. “This refreshed identity gives us a modern, cohesive foundation for everything from our website and social media to signage and printed materials. It’s an opportunity to tell our story more effectively and help people better understand the full scope of what we do.”
Locally, Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley serves a 52-county region across southern Indiana, western Kentucky, and southern Illinois. Its two Houses, located in Evansville and Newburgh, provide 26 guest rooms, meals, and essential resources to families with children receiving medical care.
The organization’s services extend beyond its Houses through its Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, providing maternal and infant healthcare in underserved communities; Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, offering respite within healthcare facilities; and Care Carts, delivering complimentary snacks, personal care items, toys, and other comforts to patients and families at partnering hospitals throughout the region.
“This is an exciting moment for Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley as we look toward the future,” said Kent Brasseale II, Board President of Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley and attorney at Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP. “The committed Board members, the dedicated staff and all the caring volunteers of this tremendous organization are grateful to be a part of its strong history of serving families throughout this region. A history made possible by the generosity of our community. As we introduce this new branding, we also look ahead for new opportunities to strengthen relationships and offer support to families during times they need it most.”
The refreshed brand also carries forward the organization’s longstanding relationship with McDonald’s, its founding and forever mission partner, along with the volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners who make its services possible.
As Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley enters this next chapter, its mission remains unchanged: to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
