Two-day tournament raises the equivalent of nearly 600 nights of comfort and care for families with hospitalized children
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Nov. 2, 2026) – Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley raised $119,601.06 during its annual Clays for a Cause tournament, the equivalent of nearly 600 nights of comfort and care for families staying at its two Ronald McDonald Houses.
Held September 24–25 at OFS Cool Springs in Velpen, Indiana, the tournament featured three shooting flights, a silent auction, and a bourbon pull that distributed 150 bottles of bourbon. Nearly 50 volunteers joined participants, sponsors, and community partners in supporting the two-day fundraiser.
The organization extends special thanks to Host Sponsor OFS for opening its Cool Springs facility to the tournament, Presenting Sponsor Kenan & Debbie Schultheis, and the many businesses that contributed financial support, donated goods, and discounted services. A complete list of event sponsors, donors, and community partners is included below.

“Behind every night at our Houses is a family navigating one of the most difficult experiences of their lives,” said Skylar Hagerman, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Ohio Valley. “Raising more than $119,000 in just two days is a tremendous accomplishment, but what makes it meaningful is knowing what those dollars will do for families. We’re grateful for a community that continues to show up, year after year, to make that support possible.”
